And if you want an example of bad public policy, just look at the situation with our veterans, when you have a manual out there telling our veterans stuff like, 'are you really of value to your community,' you know, encouraging them to commit suicide. I mean, this is crazy coming from the government, and this is exactly what concerns people and puts them in fear of what the government control of health care will look like.

If the legislation proposed by the Republican's had passed in 2004, we would not be in a recession. There was no need to address your pithy comments. I am not sure if there is a death panel or not. But, I think there are debatable issues for either side to debate. There is solid evidence that B. Hussein Obama's public option would ration health care to the point of having to decide who gets health care. The agency handbook for the VA is just such an example.
I posted the video in response to your suggestion that the Republicans have somehow lost there way. As you can see in the video, the Democrats on the oversight committee should each be held responsible for our financial collapse. The Blame that falls on the Republicans for the economy is that when Republicans were in control, the acted like Democrats in wasting money on useless social projects like prescription drug program for seniors, no-child left behind, etc.
