Get a grip Jack! Do you think all that conservatives do is travel around the country creating havoc? Those people depicted on Rachel's show are hard working Americans. They are not on welfare and do not have time to protest the health care bill just to cause trouble (unlike the wackos during Bush's terms who have no jobs and can travel around the country at a whim).

Anonymous, I trust you didn't read my reply to what I'm assuming was your post on the first Rachel video. My goal here is to have reasoned, fair minded debate. When you start name calling, you stifle our ability to do so. The reason i post Rachel on this blog and not Olbermann is for that reason. Keith is big on demonizing folks, i don't want that here.

Read this post,It is my guiding principle for all debate, political or otherwise. I hope we can find common ground, starting here:

Why can't conservatives protest the so called health care reform bill without being vilified? People stormed out at Bush constantly and the liberal media never made a bid deal about the protesters political ideology. I don't agree that it is only conservatives that our protesting, but, even if this is so, why is it a big deal. So what?

i don't think protesters should be vilified for disagreeing, but why show up to a town hall and yell and scream. the point of a town hall is to ask questions and hear answers. if you prevent that from happening, you are at best rude, and at worse...

if i go to a movie, i have the right to voice my displeasure, right? but if i stand up and hiss and boo in the theater, i'm being unreasonable, no?. there are proper and improper ways to show displeasure. i'd submit that shouting in a town hall is not an appropriate way. even if you have the right to do so.
